A FOUNDATION IN LEARNING

In Family Room 3 our children aged 2 years and over take huge steps in their development. They are now more active and keen to explore their surroundings and the world around them.


Our experienced Nursery Practitioners work with the children to help develop their friendships, social skills and language development. There are opportunities for messy play, art and craft activities, construction, role play and calm cosy areas for quiet play reading and resting.

 

ARRIVAL : 07:45


Children arrive and are greeted by practitioners.​​​​​​​

BREAKFAST : 08:15


Breakfast will be served to the children.

REGISTRATION : 09:00


Day begins with story starter and wake up shake up.

ACTIVITIES : 09:15


Children are split into 2 groups. One to go outside the other to stay inside.

REGROUP: 11:10


The two groups join as one for music, movement and dance activities. 

LUNCH : 11:30


The children are served lunch from our weekly nutritious menu made by our chef. 

ACTIVITIES : 12:15


Fun activities to develop finger muscles in preparation for writing.

SLEEP TIME : 12:45


For those children who need a sleep. Snacks are offered on waking. 

ACTIVITIES : 14:00


Children are split into 2 groups. One to go outside the other to stay inside.

LIGHT TEA : 15:30


The children are served light tea from our chef, followed by tooth brushing.

REGROUP : 16:00


The children gather together for music, movement and dance activities. 

CARPET FUN : 16:30


Children are split into 2 groups. One to go outside the other to stay inside. 

PLAYTIME : 17.00


Children are encouraged to play together. All areas of provision are available. 

CLOSE : 18:00


Parents arrive and collect their children after a day of fun and activity.

TOILETING & CHANGING


Toileting takes place during the day. Soiled nappies are changed immediately.
